SendNeo Acceptable Use Policy

This draft explains what may and may not be sent through SendNeo. The legal desk will review it before publication. It applies to transactional mail, newsletters, broadcasts, API calls, and MCP actions.

Permission and list quality

Send only to people who asked for the message or have another lawful basis that applies to the communication. Do not use purchased, rented, scraped, harvested, or shared lists without valid permission. Do not add a person again after an unsubscribe or suppression request. Keep records that show where an audience came from and what it was told.

Use accurate sender information and subject lines. Marketing messages must include a working unsubscribe method and the sender's current postal address. Honor an unsubscribe promptly. Double opt-in is on by default for SendNeo sign-up flows.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use SendNeo for:

  • phishing, impersonation, credential theft, malware, or malicious code;
  • fraud, scams, or messages that hide the sender or destination;
  • illegal products or services;
  • adult sexual services or exploitative sexual content;
  • gambling without the required license or authorization;
  • crypto pump or market-manipulation schemes;
  • pyramid schemes, illegal MLM activity, or deceptive investment offers;
  • harassment, threats, or targeted abuse;
  • content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights;
  • unsolicited bulk mail or attempts to evade a suppression or review decision.

Yorker Media may refuse content or activity that creates material legal, security, abuse, or deliverability risk even if it is not listed above.

Deliverability thresholds

SendNeo automatically suppresses hard-bounce and complaint addresses for the account. A broadcast pauses if more than 2% of messages bounce or more than 0.08% result in a complaint. An account is paused for review at 5% bounces or 0.3% complaints. These controls do not replace your duty to use a permission-based list.

All broadcasts include RFC 8058 one-click unsubscribe headers. Keep SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configured for the sending domain, and respond to unsubscribe requests from the message body as well.

New-account review

New accounts begin in review. Until a quick human review normally completed within one business day, live keys can send only to the account's own verified team email addresses. Test keys work fully. The review protects the shared reputation and lets us confirm the account's intended use.

What happens after a concern

We may warn you, pause a broadcast, suppress addresses, limit sending, request information, suspend an account, or terminate access. We may take immediate action where needed to protect recipients, investigate abuse, comply with law, or protect the service. We will provide a reason and a path to respond where practical.

Do not open a replacement account to avoid a review or suspension. Reply to the notice with your sending purpose, list source, consent process, recent message, and steps taken to correct the issue. We may restore access when the risk is resolved.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected phishing, malware, or unauthorized use to legal@yorkermedia.com with the relevant message ID, sender, and evidence. Do not include a recipient's private information unless it is necessary for the report.
