SendNeo Privacy Policy

This draft explains how Yorker Media handles personal information through SendNeo. The legal desk will review this draft before publication. Yorker Media operates SendNeo.

Information we store

We store account information such as your name, organization, login details, billing status, API-key metadata, and support correspondence. We store domains, DNS verification state, audiences, contacts, tags, unsubscribe and suppression state, and the configuration you choose for newsletters and webhooks.

We store message metadata for 90 days. Metadata can include sender, recipient, subject, timestamps, status, message ID, tags, and delivery events. Message bodies are deleted after sending, except that broadcast content is kept when you publish it in the public newsletter archive or retain it as a broadcast in the product.

Customers may upload contacts and message content. For that data, Yorker Media generally acts as a processor on the customer's instructions. The customer is responsible for a lawful basis, notices, consent, and responses to requests from the people on its lists.

How we use information

We use information to provide delivery, newsletters, authentication, suppression, abuse prevention, customer support, billing, security, and service reliability. We use delivery and complaint signals to protect recipients and the shared sending reputation. We do not sell personal information.

The SendNeo product does not use ad tracking. Open and click tracking is off by default; if a customer turns it on for a broadcast, the customer controls that choice and should explain it to recipients.

Service providers

We use the following subprocessors for the service:

  • Amazon Web Services for email delivery;
  • Dodo Payments for billing;
  • Cloudflare for network and related infrastructure services.

We require service providers to protect information and use it only for the service they provide. We may update this list by publishing a revised policy.

Cookies and similar technology

SendNeo uses a session cookie to keep you signed in and maintain a secure session. The product does not use advertising cookies. Browser settings can block cookies, but parts of the dashboard may stop working.

Retention and deletion

We keep account and billing records as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Message metadata is retained for 90 days. Bodies are deleted after sending except for broadcast material kept for the archive or product record. Suppression records may be retained so an unsubscribed or complained address is not accidentally contacted again.

When an account closes, we delete or anonymize information according to these retention needs and any export request. Deletion can be limited by legal, security, billing, or suppression requirements.

International processing and security

Email delivery and service infrastructure may process information in countries where our providers operate. We use access controls, encryption in transit, key management, logging, and operational safeguards appropriate to the service. No online service can guarantee absolute security; tell us promptly about suspected unauthorized access.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal information. Customers who control an audience should first direct a recipient request to the customer that collected the address. We will assist the customer as required by our agreement and applicable law.

To make a privacy request or ask a question, contact legal@yorkermedia.com. We may verify identity and authority before responding. You can unsubscribe from a newsletter through its unsubscribe link; SendNeo maintains suppression records so that choice is honored.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service or law changes. We will post the new version and update the date. For privacy questions, contact legal@yorkermedia.com.
