What changed in SendNeo, newest first.

17 October 2026 — SendNeo is transactional email, nothing else

  • One job. SendNeo now focuses on the email your app sends: receipts, password resets, one-time codes and alerts. Newsletters moved to our sister product, LetterNeo. The audience, contact and broadcast endpoints keep working as Resend-compatible extras, and accounts that already use audiences still see them in the dashboard.
  • MCP. New tools for agents: send_batch, list_emails, cancel_email, list_events and list_templates, and send_email takes an idempotency_key. Sending-only keys see just the email tools.
  • Webhooks and events. Every webhook payload carries the event's id (the same one GET /api/events returns), so receivers can drop duplicates. GET /api/events takes email_id for one email's timeline.
  • CLI. A single-file command-line tool (Python 3, nothing to install): sendneo send with every API field, emails, domains, events, validate, usage and --json for scripts.
  • SMTP relay, built. The SMTP relay (STARTTLS on 587 and 2587, TLS on 465, an API key as the password) is written and tested and opens once its servers are set up. Inline images are supported in the API too: attachments take a content_id for cid: references.
  • Metrics. Dashboard → Metrics shows the last 7, 30 or 90 days: delivered, bounce and complaint rates with a good / fair / poor rating, emails sent per day, and how much came through the API versus audience mail.
  • Status. A public status page (and JSON) shows the API, sending, the delivery worker and Amazon SES; the footer shows the current state on every page.
  • Privacy requests. Settings → Privacy requests exports, erases or suppresses everything SendNeo holds for one address. Delivery events are now deleted together with their emails after 90 days.
  • New pages. SDK snippets for nine languages, setup guides for ten AI tools, a downloadable SendNeo skill for agents, and About, Security, GDPR and Support.
  • Fixes. Sign-in codes and password resets no longer say "you subscribed"; API and dashboard times are always UTC; docs now match the API (attachments up to 10 MB in total, 2,000 free test emails a day, the full error shape); docs pages fit small phone screens.

SendNeo opened at sendneo.yorkermedia.com with:

  • a Resend-compatible REST API: send, batch (up to 100), schedule, reschedule and cancel, idempotency keys, tags, custom headers and attachments;
  • sending domains with DKIM, a custom MAIL FROM and DMARC guidance, checked automatically;
  • templates with {{variables}}, signed webhooks with a delivery log, and GET /api/events;
  • test keys that simulate delivered, bounced and complained, and email validation;
  • an MCP server with OAuth 2.1 sign-in, agent keys and approvals;
  • team roles and invitations, billing through Dodo Payments, and newsletters (audiences, broadcasts, sequences and a migration center).
